Dale Schoolfield has directed the Security and Safety operations of multiple regional hospitals since 1999 serving at: Provena Saint Joseph Hospital;
Baptist Memorial Hospital; and Tuomey Healthcare System respectively. In his last professional position at Provena, Dale was responsible
for overall management of security department, training, hospital staff orientation and training for security/safety issues, EOC and HIPAA privacy rounding,
investigations, departmental and campus security / hazard and risk surveys, management of the hospital's ID system, implementation and management
of new access control and CCTV systems, coordination of fire and ILSM drills, assisted with emergency preparedness planning and drills, crisis
intervention training and numerous other duties as assigned.
Dale began his service in hospital security at Tuomey Healthcare System in 1995 first as a contract security officer, then Lieutenant and later Captain/Site Supervisor
& Contract Instructor. His duties and supervisory charge included the direct supervision of 25 uniformed officers, assisting in training new officers and performance of security
related duties as assigned by administration. During this period, Dale was also a contracted instructor and taught classes for officers in corporate/industrial/healthcare
security in South Carolina and Georgia. Prior to serving in healthcare security, he was a Sergeant and then Lieutenant with Wells Fargo Guard Services.
Dale Schoolfield is a Senior Member of IAHSS (International Association for Healthcare Security and Safety), a Certified Healthcare Protection Administrator
(CHPA) through the IAHSS, Member of International Foundation for Cultural Property Protection (IFCCP), Certified Institutional Protection Manager (CIPM) through
the IFCCP and Member of American Society for Industrial Security (ASIS).
